To win Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2026 on Amazon, lock down your inventory, tighten your listings for search, budget by phase, discount only to your profit floor, and check your numbers daily so problems get fixed in time. Black Friday is November 27. Cyber Monday is November 30.

Key Takeaways: Your 2026 BFCM Checklist

  1. Inventory: Calculate days of cover for each top ASIN against your event forecast. Amazon’s FBA inbound cutoffs for Black Friday week ran October 14 to 28, so plan around stock Amazon has already received.
  1. Listings: Fix suppression alerts and missing attributes first, then add high-intent keywords to titles, bullets, and backend terms.
  1. Budget: Plan ad spend by phase and add peak fulfillment fees, which run October 15, 2026 to January 14, 2027.
  1. Discounts: Never price below your breakeven. A 15% discount on a product with a 28% margin needs about 82% more units to earn the same profit.
  1. Pulse checks: Review stock, ranks, ad spend, profit, and listing changes every morning during the event.

When Are Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2026, and What Should Amazon Sellers Expect?

Black Friday 2026 is Friday, November 27, and Cyber Monday is Monday, November 30. Adobe forecasts $12.9 billion in US online spending on Black Friday and $15.1 billion on Cyber Monday in 2026, according to PPC Land’s report on the forecast. For comparison, Adobe reported record 2025 results of $11.8 billion on Black Friday and $14.25 billion on Cyber Monday, up 9.1% and 7.1% year over year. Independent sellers drive much of that volume: Amazon said more than 60% of sales during its 2024 Black Friday Week and Cyber Monday event came from independent sellers.

Amazon’s window to submit new Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals closed on October 20, 2026. If you missed it, inventory, listings, ad budgets, and pricing are still in your control, and the sections below cover each one.

How Do You Stay on Track With Your Inventory This Q4?

Stay on track by calculating days of cover for every top ASIN against your BFCM sales forecast, confirming which inbound shipments Amazon has actually received, and setting reorder and low-stock checks before the event starts. Amazon’s cutoffs for Black Friday week fell between October 14 for Amazon Warehousing and Distribution and October 28 for FBA shipments with Amazon-optimized splits, so treat any stock Amazon has not yet received as unavailable for the event.

Run this four-step check on each top ASIN:

  1. Forecast event demand. Start with your average daily units over the last 30 days, then apply the lift you saw during last year’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Helium 10 Inventory Management tracks live inventory levels and sell-through velocity, so you can see which SKUs need reorder attention in the next 7 to 14 days.
  1. Calculate days of cover. Divide the units available at Amazon by your forecast daily units. For example, 600 units at a forecast 60 units per day is 10 days of cover.
  1. Protect your best sellers. If an ASIN has less cover than the event is long, slow its ad spend early so the stock lasts through Cyber Monday instead of selling out on Friday.
  1. Plan the reorder now. Black Friday draws down the stock you will need in January. Set the reorder point and place purchase orders before the event, not after it.

Unsold stock costs money too, so plan for slow SKUs as well as best sellers. Amazon seller Josh Hadley, speaking on Serious Sellers Podcast #616, put a number on the problem:

“The amount of profit that we have been losing just going to aged inventory surcharges has been monstrous.” His fix: “We’ll take anything that has aged inventory or anything that’s potentially going to incur aged inventory in the next two to three months, and we will light those up.”

(Josh Hadley, Amazon seller, Serious Sellers Podcast #616, 2024)

How Do You Maximize Your Search Visibility With a Few Small Listing Tweaks?

Maximize search visibility by auditing your top ASINs, adding missing high-intent keywords to titles, bullets, and backend terms, and clearing any suppression alerts or missing attributes before November 27. Small edits improve relevance without the risk of a full rewrite in the busiest weeks of the year. Amazon’s own deal checklist tells sellers to make sure deal-linked listings are active and meet quality requirements, which is a useful bar for every listing you sell.

Follow these five steps for each top ASIN:

  1. Audit first. Run the ASIN through Listing Analyzer to score the listing and see which keywords top competitors use that you do not.
  1. Find seasonal and gift intent. Enter seed keywords into Magnet to see related keywords with search volume and competition. Then use Cerebro on a top competitor’s ASIN to find the keywords they rank for and you do not.
  1. Baseline your ranks. Add your target keywords to Keyword Tracker before you edit, so you can measure the effect within days.
  1. Make surgical edits. Add two or three high-intent keywords to the title, bullets, or backend terms. Draft options with Listing Builder, then edit them in your own voice. Change one element at a time so you know what worked.
  1. Check the basics. Confirm the listing is active, the main image and A+ content are live, and Seller Central shows no suppression alerts.

Start from last year’s data instead of guessing which keywords will matter. Amazon seller Vincenzo Toscano described his routine on Serious Sellers Podcast #616:

“Brand Analytics is my best friend for Black Friday, because essentially what I do is I go back in time and see what happened in 2023, 2022.”

(Vincenzo Toscano, Amazon seller, Serious Sellers Podcast #616, 2024)

How Do You Properly Budget Across the Holiday Season?

Budget by phase, not by month: set separate ad budgets for the weeks before the event, Black Friday through Cyber Monday, and the weeks after, then subtract the fees that rise in the same window. Amazon’s peak fulfillment fees run from October 15, 2026 to January 14, 2027, adding an average of about $0.32 per unit, so a product’s unit profit in December is thinner than in September.

Cost lines to plan for this holiday season:

Cost When it applies What to do
Peak fulfillment fees Oct 15, 2026 to Jan 14, 2027 Recalculate unit profit in Helium 10 Profits with the higher fee
Event deal fees Only if you submitted a deal before Oct 20 PPC Land reports $100 upfront per promotion plus 1.5% of promotional sales, capped at $5,000; add it to that deal’s cost
Advertising Before, during, and after the event Set a daily cap for each phase in Helium 10 Ads and weight it toward Black Friday and Cyber Monday
January reorders After the event Hold back cash for the units that sold through

Hold part of your ad budget for the days after Cyber Monday, when shoppers are still buying and many competitors have stopped bidding. When the event ends, review which campaigns paid off and cut the ones that did not. For help finding spend you did not expect, see how to use the Helium 10 MCP to find hidden Amazon cost leaks. For seller-tested tactics, listen to Serious Sellers Podcast #616, where 13 sellers share their Black Friday strategies.

Do not cut budgets out of habit before the event. Mansour Norouzi, an Amazon seller on Serious Sellers Podcast #616, called this the most common mistake he sees:

“The biggest mistake that I see… the brand doesn’t think about increasing their budget” in the days before Black Friday. “We usually recommend up to 20% for two to three days before Black Friday.”

(Mansour Norouzi, Amazon seller, Serious Sellers Podcast #616, 2024)

How Do You Keep a Pulse on Your Day-to-Day Activity So Problems Get Caught in Time?

Keep a pulse by reviewing the same five signals every morning during the event and the week before it: stock levels, keyword ranks, ad spend against plan, profit per ASIN, and listing changes. A daily review catches a stockout, a suppressed listing, or a runaway campaign while there is still time to fix it.

  1. Stock: Check days of cover on your top ASINs in Inventory Management.
  1. Ranks: Look for overnight drops on your revenue keywords in Keyword Tracker.
  1. Ad spend: Compare spend with your phase budget in Helium 10 Ads and flag campaigns above your target ACoS.
  1. Profit: Confirm net profit per ASIN after fees, ads, and discounts in Profits.
  1. Listing changes: Turn on Alerts so you are notified when a listing changes.

“The question we kept getting from sellers was: Is this number good or bad? They had the data. They just needed someone to tell them what it meant,”

says Bradley Sutton, Chief Evangelist at Helium 10 and an Amazon seller for 10+ years. Set your thresholds before the event starts, so each morning’s check is a yes-or-no decision rather than a judgment call.

Sellers on the front line say the same thing about budgets. Amazon seller Abe Chomali shared his advice for a first Black Friday on Serious Sellers Podcast #616:

“It’s simply watch your budgets all day. The number one thing that we see is sellers running out of budget with a lot of time left in the day… you just lose out on sales opportunities.”

(Abe Chomali, Amazon seller, Serious Sellers Podcast #616, 2024)

He also warns that mid-day ACoS can look far worse than it ends up, so he checks TACOS to decide whether to add budget.

How Can the Helium 10 MCP Help You Run Black Friday Week?

The Helium 10 MCP connects your live Helium 10 data to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or a custom agent, so you can ask plain-English questions about inventory, keywords, ads, and profit during Black Friday week instead of exporting reports. It is available to Diamond plan customers at no additional cost, and it covers 40+ tools across keyword research, reverse ASIN lookup, ads intelligence, and commerce analytics.

Here are five BFCM questions to ask your AI once it is connected:

BFCM step Ask your AI What it draws on
Inventory “Which of my top ASINs have less than 10 days of cover at current sales velocity?” Inventory health and sales velocity
Listings “Which keywords do my top three competitors rank for that I don’t?” Reverse ASIN and keyword gap analysis
Budget “Which campaigns are spending above my target ACoS, and why?” Ad campaign data and root-cause analysis
Profit “What is my net profit and margin per ASIN after fees and ad spend?” P&L, margins, COGS, and fees at the product level
Daily pulse “Give me a daily digest of rank changes on my top 20 keywords.” Rank tracking data in a recurring workflow

Two features matter most in a high-pressure week. First, ad changes such as bids and budgets run only with your approval, so you stay in control of spend. Second, a prompt can replace a manual cleanup: hand your AI your search term report and it sorts every term into add, negate, or watch, which is the review to run the week after Cyber Monday.
