Maybe 98% of you are not doing. And for Helium 10 members, a way to make up to $30,000 a month in extra revenue. How cool is that? Pretty cool, I think. Hello everybody, and welcome to another episode of the Serious Sellers Podcast by Helium 10. I’m your host, Bradley Sutton, and this is the show. That’s a completely BS free organic conversation about serious strategies for serious sellers of any level in the e-commerce world. And we’ve got a couple here, one who’s been a serious seller, one who’s been helping serious sellers. And they both have interesting insights too on a certain aspect, I would say of generating extra income that, I don’t know, 98% of our listeners perhaps are not doing. And that’s why I invited them on. Now this is the first time for both of you guys to be on the podcast. Kashka Burrowes: Yes. Bradley Sutton: Okay. All right, good. So we’re going to get your, your backstory. Let’s start with Kashka. Where were you born and raised? I know you’re in Fort Lauderdale area right now. Is that where you’re from? Kashka Burrowes: No, I actually was born in Jamaica. My family, first generation immigrants, including myself, we moved from Jamaica to New York. And then probably when I was very young, probably 10 or so moved to Florida. And I’ve been here for the, since then. Bradley Sutton: Did you go to Jamaica, Queens or move somewhere else? Kashka Burrowes: No, I would live in the Bronx actually. Bradley Sutton: Okay. Boogie down Bronx. I like it. Kashka Burrowes: Boogie down Bronx. Bradley Sutton: And then after Bronx you said, how old were you when you moved to Florida? Kashka Burrowes: Oh, I was probably like eight years old. So I’ve been in Florida most of my life. Yes. Bradley Sutton: Okay. Where did you go to college at? Kashka Burrowes: I went to the Kaiser college. Funny enough, I actually went to school for computer programming. My initial dream was to become a coder because I wanted to make video games. Bradley Sutton: Ah, okay. Cool. And then did you get into that field at all when you graduated? Kashka Burrowes: So I actually, I specialized in like HTML and JavaScript coding when I graduated and I got a job working for a company, honestly doing SEO before SEO was a thing. So my job was to make what they called at the time Dory pages, which are just landing pages that were ranked under certain keywords. And this is like in search engines, like Excite, Alta Vista, before Google was a thing. And, uh, the owner actually took notice of my work and he kind of grew that role into more of like a marketing role to where like I started doing other things of like, uh, CPM buys, like exit traffic, things like that to generate traffic to the website. And then probably in my second year he decided to full on make an affiliate program and he asked me to run it. So that’s actually how I got into the industry of becoming an affiliate manager was probably like three years out of college, I’d say. Bradley Sutton: Okay. All right. Oh, cool. And then we’ll, we’ll probably play this on the screen here, but how is it that you got on the reality show that Jamie Kennedy experienced? Kashka Burrowes: So funny enough at that same job that I was just telling you about, um, my friend, she was actually, um, pranking me. Uh, she actually told me that, um, she wanted to go to the beach and it was at work. It was actually a Monday. And I was like, I can’t go, I have to, you know, to, uh, go to work and she conned me by telling me there was this, uh, this friend of hers that I was interested in that was going to be there. And she was like, she will be there. So you got to come. So I, I faked sick. Bradley Sutton: So it was real. It was real. You had no idea this was- Kashka Burrowes: No idea, no idea at all. And we went to the beach and I knew something was off in the sense of on a Monday, the beach typically is not that path. But outside of that, I was completely oblivious to what was going on. Bradley Sutton: All right. So I’m not sure how much we were able to get into our YouTube, uh, portion of it. If you guys are curious about his, uh, appearance on that show, uh, take a look at our YouTube version on the Helium 10 channel. All right, let’s, let’s switch to, uh, Tara now, uh, I believe you’re in Idaho, right? Tara Stoll: I am. Yeah. I’m, uh, calling in from Boise, Idaho, which where I was born and raised. Bradley Sutton: Okay. And then where did you go to college? Tara Stoll: The university of Idaho, which is way up North, almost close to, closer to Canada side. Bradley Sutton: Is that the Vandals? Tara Stoll: The Vandals? How’d you know that? Bradley Sutton: Finally, I got a streak where I wasn’t getting them right. I told you if they have it, if there’s a sports team, I have like a. 60% chance of, of getting it, uh, getting it right there. Tara Stoll: I’m very impressed to know that. Bradley Sutton: Usually people are Boise state Broncos, I would say. Tara Stoll: Exactly. They’re more of a rival. We don’t play them anymore, but yeah, they’re known for the blue field. That’s where everyone in Boise. Uh, but yeah, U of I is, is up North and they just were- Bradley Sutton: What was your major? Tara Stoll: Uh, finance. So I studied business. I’ve always, that’s what I’ve always wanted to, uh, channel. And so I, I love anything entrepreneurship and business related. So Helium 10 is right up my alley. Bradley Sutton: Okay and did you get to it at all after college? Tara Stoll: So funny enough, I spent a long time in my career in commercial real estate development and I lived in San Francisco for a while. Uh, so totally different field and I thought I wanted to go into that and do project management. And I love architecture. Uh, and I, I worked on big skyscrapers and projects and it was really fun, but ultimately I love e-commerce and entrepreneurship. So that’s where I’ve, I’ve really shifted. Bradley Sutton: Okay. And how did you get into e-commerce? Tara Stoll: I knew I always wanted to own my own business and brand. And I just started, I think like a lot of people are just looking on YouTube, seeing what other people were doing. And I, uh, started out on Amazon doing retail arbitrage, which if you don’t know what that is, I know you do Bradley, but, uh, it’s just a funny way of a fancy way of saying it’s finding other brands to sell on Amazon and you can get ungated. Like for instance, you could sell Nike shoes on Amazon. You’re obviously not the owner of Nike, but you can sell them and make a little bit of profit. Bradley Sutton: But what was the craziest profit you did? Like the craziest thing where you’re like, Oh my God, I got to find as many stores as possible because this is crazy how much money I’m making on this little thing. Tara Stoll: Oh geez. Um, I mean Nike, but I, anything, um- Bradley Sutton: Oh, you, you, you were approved to sell Nike on Amazon? Tara Stoll: I’m dated the day I got on Nike and nobody understood it. Nobody in my life. And I’m like, you don’t know how big this is. I can sell Nike. Uh, but yeah, Bradley Sutton: any kind of how much money you like, well, like what would you pay and then like, what would you get when you were selling it on Amazon? Tara Stoll: Yeah. Um, good question. It would, I mean, I’m, I was always hunting for the best deals. So we have a Nike outlet here, so I was our Nike store, so I was always looking for their clearance items. Um, you know, but I could find something for maybe 15, $20 and then flip it, sell it for 35, 40. That doesn’t sound like a lot, but it’s also, I think a lot of people get into it for the thrill of it. You know, it’s, it’s just making that profit and it’s kind of fun. Um, but ultimately I always knew that I wanted to, to have my own brand and saw an Amazon, but I always thought that that was so far fetched and it just seemed so overwhelming. And so it took me a while to finally take the leap and get started on that. Bradley Sutton: And then, so you got into private label. Tara Stoll: I started my own brands and own products. So I had two products that I sold. Um, and funny enough, this ties into the affiliate program. Doing my research, I was like, how do I even get started selling on Amazon? I found this guy on YouTube that was talking about Helium 10 and how to get started. And that intrigued me. And it’s, he, he described it so well that it made me feel like it was feasible to do. And so that’s how I discovered Helium 10 as a seller. Bradley Sutton: Ah okay. Tara Stoll: Yeah. Bradley Sutton: Probably from an affiliate of Helium 10. Tara Stoll: He’s still an affiliate. Yeah. Bradley Sutton: Oh, he still is an affiliate. Well, that’d be crazy if you were managing him. Or is it one of caution? Tara Stoll: It’s not me. Bradley Sutton: All right. So now you guys work here at, at Helium 10, uh, came from different backgrounds and we’re going to talk a little bit about affiliate marketing, not just from a Helium 10 angle, because that’s, that’s I think one way that people can start making money, any Helium 10 user out there. But I think it’s something that, um, brands just overall may, might overlook. Uh, people are nowadays, you know, knowing about like social commerce and creators and influencer marketing, which is kind of very similar vibe. And sometimes it actually, you know, influencer marketing, even on TikTok and like transition to, to like the affiliate model, you know, like, like, uh, you know, some, some purists might have specific descriptions, but if in a broad sense, you know, when, when somebody is, is, you know, getting, getting commission on sales or generating, that’s kind of like the affiliate model. So in one sense, you guys are, you know, you guys, as in, as in the our listeners out there, you guys kind of know what we’re talking about here, but we’re going to talk about it from two different angles. One is like as a brand owner and one is, you know, just like finding people to be affiliates of, to generate extra income for those of you maybe just starting out or those of you in e-commerce who your family maybe is, is kind of like, ah, I don’t know what you’re doing, but they want to be YouTube stars or Instagram creators or something. Well, this might be a way that you can kind of like backdoor your, your family into the e-commerce world. But, but Kash, can you talk about just in general what affiliate marketing is and then maybe a little bit about how people with physical products, you know, whether it’s me with my coffin shelves or, or whether it’s Tara with whatever she was selling you know, how we could consider actually, you know, making affiliate revenue from our own product. Kashka Burrowes: So affiliate marketing in general is basically you as the owner of a product, taking that product and putting it out there for other people to market. And typically you’d pay them as the product sells. So the best benefit I always tell people when it comes to affiliate marketing is that, whereas if you were running ads, for example, you have to run ads, you pay, you know, a flat sum, and then you have to monetize it to make sure you’re profitable. So you’re getting an ROI on that ad ad spend with affiliate marketing. You kind of leverage that and put that on the person marketing because you’re only paying them once the product sells and giving them a portion of the profit. So you’re not really managing if you’re in profit or not. You know that if the product is selling that you are in profit based on the agreed upon price that you’re giving them, whether it’s a percentage, a flat fee or something along those natures, even if you pay them on like say a lead basis. So that key aspect of being able to not have to manage the if you are in profit or not on a day to day basis and alleviating that from your, your plate is why a lot of people like affiliate programs because inherently as long as you are selling the product, you are making money. Bradley Sutton: Okay. Excellent. Excellent. Now if you know this for either of you, like if, if somebody is a brand owner and, and I mean, I don’t, I don’t think I’ve got the time for it or I’m not maybe of the size with my coffin shelf brand or, or these other ones that I’m running. Uh, but some of the, some of the brands I run definitely could do it. Like what would be the first steps on, you know, I would assume it would be like finding a platform, you know, to, to get started. But if I’m like a larger seller, seven, eight figure seller, what are some platforms, if any, um, that, that people could look into that they can maybe integrate into their website? Cause I would imagine the website is the easiest place to, you know, to advertise or for like attracting affiliates to like join a program. Um, and, and you would need a, like a service, you know, to like, to be able to do the attribution and all that stuff. Cause that’s a very complicated thing. But what are some, where can some people get started? Tara Stoll: Yeah, I can touch on that. So we work within our affiliate program. We work with a company called Impact. Um, and it’s really amazing. Um, we actually find a lot of our own affiliates from Impact. Uh, but it’s basically a marketplace. So you can either be a brand or someone that wants to, uh, you know, promote a certain company or product. And I highly recommend Impact, but I do believe it costs money, uh, you know, to get on that as a brand. But I would, I would also recommend, you know, Helium 10, we have a TikTok shop influencer finder. So that’s something that, you know, if you’re here, if you’re a brand watching this and you have Helium 10, you can find influencers on TikTok to promote your product. And another thing I would say, if you’re someone that doesn’t have a lot of budget, you’ll see this on TikTok shop. You can, if you have merchandise, if you’re a physical product, you can give that away in exchange for a video or a promotion. So that can be a way that if you don’t have a lot of ways to compensate, maybe you have a lot of inventory that you could, you have a hundred, you know, different products, a hundred of them. You can find your top affiliates and entice them to do some kind of content. So that’s always an option. Bradley Sutton: Yeah. So, I mean, if somebody feels like, Hey, well, I’m not ready to have this full blown affiliate program, but I want to start reaching out just one to one, two creators, you know, TikTok influencer finder, Helium 10 influence or Helium 10, Amazon influencer finder, both in Helium 10, you can just start finding out, Hey, who’s been making videos for your competitors, you know, or who’s been making videos for other coffin shelves or other shoes or whatever somebody might be selling. You can literally, you know, start entering ASINs in or keywords and find on TikTok or on Amazon, whoever’s been making videos. It doesn’t mean that they are necessarily affiliates. They might be probably part of the affiliate program unless they just like making videos off the kindness of their heart. But that’s a way that you can just like reach out one to one. And then in that, in that kind of situation, Kasha, let’s say I’m not ready to have a full blown, a blown affiliate program and be part of a website and stuff. What’s the best way to approach these? You know, I’m basically, I would imagine the results of getting, you know, them responding is like one in a hundred or something like that. Cause a lot of these people are probably like bombarded with just, you know, cold calls or messages. But what are some tips for some, Hey, I’m trying to like promote my product to this, this, this influencer I found from from the influencer finder. And if it’s in a Amazon influencer finder, like usually just shows her like YouTube profile, which might have their email, it’ll show their Instagram address. So I’m just like literally sliding into DMs. Any, how, how can I make that first message to give me a chance at least hopefully getting read? Kashka Burrowes: So one thing that I would say is finding a synergy is key. You want to look for people that would resonate with your product, with the audience that you’re trying to sell the product to. Right. Typically these influencers, they know that they know their demographic. They know the people that will watch your videos, watch your content, and they are looking for products to promote, push to that content. So if you automatically have a great synergy with our audience, that’s step one. Second, I would say, just like Tara says, offer the product to them and have them basically review it. A lot of the reasons why I think influencers truly work is because their audience feel like their, their opinion is unbiased and they basically are looking for products for that aren’t necessarily like commercialized or something like that. So offer the product, have them review it and let them be very honest about it. I think sincerity is one of the biggest things when it comes to sales. Funny enough, I feel like if someone is truly sincere and believes in the product that they are putting on their channel or their to the, to their audience, the audience can pick that up and it will resonate. If you’re, if you have your product and you want the person to necessarily stick to a script, only review certain aspects of it and not truly be unbiased towards it, I think their audience will pick that up as well. So two things, one, obviously find the a demographic that fits your product and reach out to influencers in that demographic and then to let them do their job, let them be unbiased, let them review the product in an honest way and you’d be surprised how many people or signups or sales or sales you’ll get from that. Bradley Sutton: How would your, like when you just, uh, Tara, when you just like maybe see somebody who’s talking about Amazon or TikTok on YouTube, you’re like, Oh, this person might be, might, you know, might be interested in promoting Helium 10 for example. Um, how, what, what’s, how do you start your email? Like what do you put in the subject and what do you, what do you have in there? Are you saying, Hey, would you like to review, um, Helium 10? Or like, do you have like some zinger in the, in the subject at all that you’re doing or? Tara Stoll: I mean, it, it depends on who, who I’m reaching out to and what their niche is. Um, for instance, now, and you’ve talked about this on the podcast, but we have some really exciting new tools and Helium 10 they’re AI based. So now that opens up as an affiliate manager myself, I can reach out to people that are AI niche and that might be what I’m, I’m going after. Like, Hey, I see that you’re in the AI space. Do you know that we now have our MCP Helium agent? You might want to check this out. I give them links to your podcast, um, talking about it. So that’s one approach and we see a lot of success with our affiliates. Bradley Sutton: Okay. So then, um, you know, yeah, it’s, it’s good to have a, if you have a good offer to, to kind of go heavy with that. And in the beginning, now, now Kashka, you know, like a lot of these, a lot of influencers out there, creators, affiliates, especially the successful ones, they might have egos. That’s I think that just goes along with the territory. Like you gotta have, you gotta have some self-confidence if you’re going to be a creator in a game. But with that ego, sometimes in my experience, it’s like now, some of them might feel like, Oh, they’re entitled to like something more special or like, you know, uh, you know, something above and beyond what the standard is. Now, I know at Helium 10, we’re kind of like, we’re, we’re kind of like, you know, fair to all. And, you know, not, you know, we have bonuses and things like that, but, but like, Hey, we’re not trying to based on somebody saying, Hey, I’m, I have this many followers. You’re going to get a higher percentage or something. But in general, how would somebody, you know, forget Helium 10, uh, context, but, but how, how as an affiliate manager, our brand owner, can we deal with, with these things where, where we kind of like, maybe we are willing to give it, but then all of a sudden maybe that sets a precedent. And then if it gets out, then now all of a sudden other people are like, Hey, wait a minute. How come you gave this person this percentage or something like, how do you temper expectations? Or do you like, like should brands be open to like based on the potential of somebody, Hey, let me give them a sweeter deal. Kashka Burrowes: So I look at this through, through one lens of when it comes to affiliate programs, really, um, managers, the I, the ideal process is to create revenue for both the brand and the person that’s creating it. Right. And sometimes when creators are pushing or affiliates are pushing for more than normal, it does hurt the profitability of the program overall. Right. And we’re doing this for sustainability, right? We want to make sure that we’re here 10 years from now. We want to make sure that we’re here 20 years from now. We want to make sure that we can pay our affiliates what they’ve earned in commission without any stress on the actual program itself. With that said, I always say there are two different aspects. One, a lot of people get paid from like a brand perspective to where, Hey, we want you to promote our product. Here’s some money, put it out there. And it’s just from brand recognition. It’s not tied to an ROI. An affiliate program is tied to an ROI. It is tied to you making money and the company itself making money. Kashka Burrowes: And that’s why there are these guidelines that we try to stick to and being, you know, within those, those ranges. Now there are some situations where we can incentivize affiliates to promote more, do more, pay them more, but it’s still tied to an ROI. For example, we have our affiliate bonus program that we run monthly and we pay affiliates for creating content for that. However, it is still tied to a number of signups that they need to produce on a monthly basis. It isn’t just to put up, put the content out there. So to answer your question, I feel like yes, there are some wiggle rooms when it comes to giving people more, but it still needs to tie to basically a bottom line that is beneficial for both the brand and the affiliate themselves. Bradley Sutton: Okay. I like it. Now talk about different kinds of affiliate commission structure. Even at Helium 10, we’ve gone through a lot of different models where before there wasn’t a big upfront one and then now, you know, we’ll talk about that later. And then now there’s, you know, now there’s an upfront, but just in general, Tara, like, like people who have products, people who have services out there who want to set up affiliate, what are the options for commission as far as like upfront or explain what recurring means and, and how you can put like guardrails to make sure people, you know, don’t just like take a big check and then they never promote again. Can you talk a little bit about that just in the general and in general affiliate world? Tara Stoll: Yeah, sure. So again, it’s however you would want to structure that. So we work primarily on impact.com and what you can do if you’re interested in that, you just tell them what numbers you want it to be. So it could be any range, whatever your budget is, that’s what you set. So I see a lot of 25% commission, you know, all the way up to a hundred. Um, we see you, you can also include recurring commission and we do offer that- Bradley Sutton: Real quick just for those who are completely new to this. When you say 25%, a hundred percent commission, give an example like, Hey, I just sold a coffin shelf for a hundred dollars. Does that mean that the affiliate gets 25 bucks? Tara Stoll: Well, and in our model you would, you know, it’d be a hundred dollars upfront. So, and all the way up to $125 upfront. Uh, but you could, if you want 25% commission, yeah, $25 is what you would get for a sale. But again, it’s, it’s whatever you’re comfortable with as a brand, uh, you know, setting that up. But to answer your question about recurring commission, that is another, um, kind of model that you can add, which that is if, so in our, our circumstance, we are a subscription, uh, based, you know, company. So how our model works is you would have the upfront commission. And then if you qualify, you can get recurring, which is 25% of the sale. So recurring up to 12 months. So if that initial sale was a hundred dollars, the affiliate in our program would get a hundred dollars and then $25 up to 12 months, as long as that customer continues to subscribe. Bradley Sutton: Okay. So those people in the physical products business, you’re probably, you guys are probably not looking into the recurring model or you would never do a 100% because obviously you’re, you’re, uh, losing money on that. There’s, there’s not much point. So, so guys, but, but that, that’s where you might start looking about, Hey, well, what if I created some kind of service, uh, tied, uh, or software tied to my product? Or what if I, uh, had this kind of like, you know, coaching program that was tied to my supplement business where I teach them about health or something. Now all of a sudden you guys can you have these other avenues open where it might not be a big fee, might be a $10 a month, but all of a sudden you got to think about it. Hey, you get, you know, 200 people to sign up. That could be pretty, pretty cool. And now you can see why, Hey, maybe you want to give, uh, a big, you know, 50% commission, 75% or even more upfront because you know, you’re going to make that money back, uh, in the, in the, in the long run. Um, or actually just after the first, the second month, as a matter of fact, but, but, and even make more money in the long run. So there’s a lot of different things that you guys can think about. Even if you have a physical product business now start thinking outside the literal Amazon box and think, Hey, what are some other ways to make revenue for my company? Is there something that makes sense for me guys? No, I cannot picture any world where a recurring model works for my, you know, my, my spooky brand or egg tray, uh, brand or some of my, maybe some of my like straws brands and some of my other, uh, party, I have some party brands as well. Kashka Burrowes: One thing that I’d like to add is for, for brands that necessarily do have something that can be purchased for currently like supplements, you just mentioned, um, just like how Amazon has subscribe and save, you can offer a recurring model when it comes to something that they would subscribe to on a regular basis. Um, for example, I’m sure you’re, you’re aware of those, um, electrolyte packs where, you know, you pour them in your water. And I noticed that they actually do have a commission program that is recurring when you, the person that subscribes is the sign up for a recurring a monthly service. And they do pay a commission on a recurring monthly basis for that. Bradley Sutton: Yeah. That would be an off Amazon, Amazon on Amazon. There’s nothing, I mean, you’d have to really set something up or it would almost have to be in the honor system because you wouldn’t know what the, what’s going on in Amazon subscribe and save. If you’re like an affiliate, you know, it’s hard, it’s hard to see, but a lot of these software companies like impact or others will tie to like your Shopify account and others. So if you’ve got like a kind of subscription model on your website for like supplements or other things, absolutely. They’d be able to get that recurring. It’s not even a service. That’s an actual physical product. So that’s a good, a good point. So, okay. So guys, number one thing we’ve, we’ve, we’ve talked about is you guys have an Amazon business, Shopify business. I think most of you outside of maybe TikTok, what you guys are doing on TikTok, you’re probably not doing much affiliate marketing, but it’s something to look into. And then also, you know, like take a look, you know, there, there, there’s trade shows out there for affiliates. And if you’re looking to get into it, definitely try and do that. Now most people who are listening to the show are all Helium 10 users. And you guys have a way to make money too. Like, like we just came back from Amazon accelerate and there’s other events around and there’s online communities. And if you guys, you know, sign somebody up to Helium 10, you can also make some extra money without even much effort. So, so Tara, what is the commission structure for somebody who becomes a Helium 10 affiliate? Like how much money do they make upfront, recurring, et cetera? What are some of the guardrails? Tara Stoll: We actually have one of the strongest, if not the strongest commission structures in our niche. We pay anywhere from 100 to 125% upfront commission, which is more than anybody. That’s huge. And on top of that, if you earn enough subscribers in a month, you can be eligible for 25% recurring commission up to 12 months. So it can really add up. And, but we, you know, we have affiliates that are small all the way up to major influencers. So it’s a great way just to make a couple extra hundred dollars a month all the way up to several thousands a month. Bradley Sutton: Kashka just to give people some idea about how much they can make. What, what are some top? I mean, not, not the top, but just like, Hey, pretty, pretty high up there. Average a Helium 10 affiliates making a per month. Kashka Burrowes: I would say one of the top, some of the top affiliates in our program can net somewhere anywhere between 30, $35,000 a month. And- Bradley Sutton: 30, $35,000 a month. Kashka Burrowes: $35,000 a month. Bradley Sutton: And I need to start my Helium 10 affiliate account. Oh my goodness gracious. Kashka Burrowes: Yes. And honestly that, that scales, especially when with Helium 10, we do have a bonus program on top of our affiliate program, where if you create content and get those same signups, we will pay you an additional up to, I believe, 35, but $3,500 every single month just for creating content and getting extra bonuses on top of the signups that you’re already getting paid commission on. So like Tara said, it is one of the strongest affiliate programs I’ve ever worked for. I’ve ever seen out there. And I believe where we’re heads and shoulders of our competitors. Bradley Sutton: What are some examples of some of the bonuses Tara? Like, Hey, do this and then you get this. Or like, is it a matter of like, Hey, reach a new number and then we’ll give you this or that? Tara Stoll: Yeah. Good question. Um, we typically, we, it’s new every month it resets, but typically we have, you know, the very first tiers. I think that’s like a Kickstarter. So if you get two new subscribers in one month and you submit content, so that could be a video, a blog post, an email newsletter, you show us proof of, of your promotion of Helium 10, you achieve those two or three new subscribers in a month. We’re going to give you, you know, depending on what the month is, let’s just say $200. And again, that’s on top of the commission that you’re getting. So it really can add up. Bradley Sutton: And what like for, for the recurring to be recurring, you know, like, like a hundred percent is pretty crazy. Um, so like guys did, just to put that in perspective, you know, the Helium 10 diamond plan is like three 40 a month or something. So that means that you sign up somebody from the diamond plan, one person, you instantly get $340. But if what do I have to do if I want to get even more off of that person who signed up for me? I like, I’m never talking to them again, but I can still actually get money from their subscription. Like what’s the standard that I have to keep in order to do that? Tara Stoll: Right. Uh, so the way we have it structured right now is you would need to have at least 11 new subscribers in one month and that resets every month. So if you didn’t get it in one month, you can try again the next month, uh, to qualify for that recurring commission. Bradley Sutton: Okay. That’s it. That’s, that’s, that’s pretty cool. So as long as I’m bringing in like 10 new people, then it’s not just that, that, that upfront, uh, upfront commission I got, which is crazy, but I’m, I’m continuing to get money from them. Okay. So, so guys, you can, you can see how this is a pretty, pretty lucrative. You know, a lot of us are in WhatsApp group and guys don’t, if you, if you become a Helium 10, I feel like don’t go spamming groups and things like that. But, um, you know, unless the, the, the group owner is okay with that. But, but I’m talking about like when you get in a one-on-one conversations and somebody is like, Hey, you know, I wish I, you know, that’s how I found out about Helium 10. It was probably from an affiliate, like way, way, way back when I was using a different software that is no longer exists for keyword tracking and, and it broke. And then I was looking at, I was asking in a Facebook group, Hey, um, what other keyword trackers are out there? And somebody mentioned Helium 10. That person didn’t give me a link, whether they’re an affiliate or not. I don’t know, but they should have because, uh, they, they could have got a couple of years worth of commission from me until I actually got now Helium 10 for free. Since I worked, I ended up working here later. Bradley Sutton: So, so guys, um, if you want to sign up to be a Helium 10, uh, affiliate, uh, go to H 10 dot M E forward slash crush it. It’ll forward to like our new website that we have. We just made a forwarder there. So H 10 dot M E dot me, forward slash crush it. Uh, and sign up mentioned, uh, there, there might be somewhere in the comments or something that you heard about it from the podcast. And, uh, you’ll be assigned either Tara, Kashka, or maybe even, um, Shivali is also on that team now that you guys all know, but this is a pretty fun way to be able to make like basically pay, like just sign up one person a month. And guess what? Your own, by definition, your own membership costs is covered. Sign up 2 people. You’re actually getting paid to use and promote a Helium 10. So like, I think most of you guys could probably sign up one person a month. But then as, as Tara said, if you sign, you’re signing up 10, you’re, you’re, you’re bringing in some big bucks eventually up to, uh, Kashka says some of, some of not even his number one is we’re talking, making $30,000 a month from, from, from Helium 10. That’s still shocking. I don’t know why I didn’t know that some people were making that, making way more money than me here at Helium 10. I love it. All right. Any, any last words from you, Kashka? Kashka Burrowes: I will say that one of the benefit of the affiliate program as well is that we try to support our affiliates as much as possible. So if you have any questions regarding content regarding, you know, the best practices, we’re here for them. You always be assigned a dedicated affiliate manager. And we, I personally like to review every single content. My affiliates promote, like every video, subscribe to their channels to help them with that YouTube algorithm, any new products, new services, new tools that we offer. I am one of the first people to reach out to my affiliates, to let them know, Hey, here’s an opportunity to make content. And then we also have evangelists here to also help them if they have an audience and like basically for Shivali or another evangelist to speak to them, we also offer that as well. Bradley Sutton: Cool. Cool. All right. If somebody wants to just reach out though and ask some more questions before signing up or just get some advice from you guys, what’s the best way to reach you? First of all, Tara. Tara Stoll: Yeah, I think the, the link that you provided, they, there should be an email address in there and we can also include our contact information, I guess in this video, if that’s helpful, people can find you on LinkedIn too. Oh yeah. Yeah, definitely. Bradley Sutton: What’s your last name? Tara Stoll: Stol, S T O L L. Bradley Sutton: S T O L L. All right. Tara Stol and Kashka, best way to reach you. LinkedIn as well. Kashka Burrowes: Yeah. Kashka, I’ll spell it K A S H K A. Last name is Burrows B U R R O W E S. Bradley Sutton: All right. Thank you very much. You know, guys, sometimes on this podcast, we’ll talk about just, or just in general, you know, we’ll talk about, you know, strange ways of, or some to make money, but then I will always get people who will one or two or three years later come to me and say, Hey, do you remember when you said this? And I, and this is, you know, I was able to do it and now we’re about to take off, you know, like a couple of weeks ago, I just mentioned I was at Accelerate. And I don’t remember if it was a podcast or like an elite one-on-one call where I had told this, that some people like, Hey, you guys aren’t selling at Walmart now probably cause you know, you don’t think there’s much potential and that’s fine. But hey, try and get to, you know, put your Amazon product on Walmart and then try and get to the top of that category. You know, maybe it’s not even that, it’s not that, you know, hard to do it because Walmart sales might be less, but you never know. You might be at in the radar of a Walmart buyer, and then you might be able to get your product into physical Walmart stores, which would like dwarf your Amazon sales. Bradley Sutton: And a couple of weeks ago at Accelerate, I was interviewing some people for the podcast. They came to me and said, Hey, do you remember when you told us about that crazy idea about Walmart? Guess what? We just were had a full meeting with Walmart buyers. We followed the advice and, and we’re, I think we’re going to get into the Walmart store. So guys, you know, some of these ways of, of different ways might seem off the wall, might be new to you, but, but, and it’s not for everybody. I’m going to try and say, Hey, everybody should make an affiliate program for your products. I’m not going to make one for, for mine. I’m not saying everybody should be a affiliate for Helium 10, but some of you, if it works for your product or if it works for you to be a Helium 10 affiliate, you could end up making a lot of extra revenue. So, so give this a try. So Tara and Kashka, thank you so much for joining us and all the work you do at, at Helium 10. And let’s I would love to maybe bring you back in a year or two and then hear stories about people who heard this podcast and then started making big money because of this. And now, now they’re like successful affiliates or something. How’s that sound? Tara Stoll: There you go. Bradley Sutton: Sounds awesome. Enjoy this episode?
