Elena Saris is a former criminal attorney and stand up comic. She began her online selling journey in 2013 on the TeeSpring platform while on a break from trial work. She had never been on Facebook and had no idea it was an advertising platform, but when one of her shirts made over $10K in revenue, she knew this online selling thing was no fluke. She quickly jumped on the Amazon bandwagon in 2014 as a private label seller. Her success on that platform led to strategic partnerships with 6 and 7 figure sellers and the creation 3 of her own successful brands. She co-founded the company Source In Asia to take Amazon sellers to Yiwu, China and teach them how to source from China and work with their own sourcing agents. On one of these trips, she met an ecommerce seller who was drop shipping on the Shopify platform using Facebook ads. He mentioned he had done $8M in his first year on Shopify. She immediately opened a Shopify store when she returned from China in July of 2018. After a shaky start that summer, she did over $750K in Q4 of 2018 and is one track to do $2.5m by the end of 2019. Most recently she co-founded Ecom Roadmap which helps teach online sellers how to sell on Shopify using Facebook Ads.
